Current Favorites

Welcome everyone (probably three readers at the most) to my first ever blog. I wanted to put together an area where I could post things that might interest other people but probably only interest me. Anyway I will start off with my current favorites:


Current Favorite Song Obsession: It Will Rain by Bruno Mars.  
Something about this song is just so catchy I can't stop listening to it.

Favorite Halloween Movie: Double Double Toil and Trouble. 

It has the Olsen twins doing what they do best. Running away from their parents and solving crimes involving witches, moonstones, and talking animals. What could be better??

Favorite Fall Activity: Pumpkin Picking with my Sista!!

We are often too cheap to buy big pumpkins but we just love looking. One time (or a few times) I forgot about the pumpkin in my room until months later when I started smelling this terrible untraceable odor. Needless to say it was a small spoiled moldy pumpkin. Make sure you dispose of them in a timely manner, no matter how sad it may be. 

Current Favorite Drink: Red Velvet Cake 

(2 oz Pinnacle Cake, 1 oz Chocolate Liquer, Splash of Grenadine). Trust me it's amazing. See I definitely did learn something at that educational Beverage and Nightclub Expo I attended. 

Favorite Makeup Product: Benefit Erase Paste

This stuff seriously works miracles. You just dab the tiniest amount underneath your eyes and it stays there all day. It actually made me look alive on the outside this week despite my exhaustion and dehydration. (It's tough work being a speech pathologist). 

Favorite Animal (For Now): Greyhound

I'm typically not that crazy about animals. I like to admire them from afar but I'm not sure I could ever care for them. I'm also pretty sure that evey pet I touch is going to bite or scratch me. This is probably because of a little incident with my friend Melissa's cat. However, I dogsat on Friday for a greyhound and he was totally cool. We bonded. He just got me. It reminded me of Santa's Little Helper from the Simpsons. Maybe I can care for a dog.
