Learn a New Language

Currently I am obsessed with www.livemocha.com. This is a free internet site where you can learn over 30 languages. There is also a social community aspect so you can talk to people who can help you on your quest for language learning.

I am (have been for years) trying to learn French. I'm kind of going through a French phase but as you can see I have not been too successful. I can't really pronounce anything or spell the words in this language, but I'm going to keep trying. I've only gotten through one lesson but so far I can say "Comment allez-vous?" and "Je m'appelle Rebecca." Sure the title of this blog is a French phrase, but aside from that I cannot really understand anything. Perhaps I should have stuck to Spanish where at least I got a head start from all those high school classes.
