Packing for a Trip
I am an absolutely terrible packer. I always bring too many clothes and too much of everything in general. For my upcoming trip to San Diego for the ASHA convention, I really want to streamline my packing and bring only that which I will need. Luckily I turned to my Lauren Conrad Style book for some input for what I will need for travel. She has a bunch of lists based on the trip you are going. I'm going to follow the one for a five day trip to a City Location:
*2 Pairs of Jeans
*3 Evening/Party Tops (which can also work during the day)
*1 nice bluse (for daytime)
*3 T-shirts
*1 Cardigan (Cut slightly long)
*1 Blazer or Cropped Jacket
*1 Dress
*2 Scarves (For warmth and splahses of color)
*2 Pairs of Flats
*1 Pair of Heels (For Evening)
*1 Pair of Sneakers (Just in Case)
*1 Lightweight Satchel (You need to be able to carry this for hours)
*Jewelry
*Undergarments
Of course there are so many more things that you need besides clothes that this list does not take into account.
*iPod
*Book
*Makeup
*Deodorant
*Body Spray
*Shampoo/Conditioner/Lotion/Body Wash/Loofah
*Toothbrush and Paste
*Bobby Pins and Elastics
*Brush and Comb
*Medicine
*Hair Straightener
*Face Wash and Lip Balm
*Money
*Sweat Pants to Sleep in
There is a lot to remember that I probably forgot. If somebody could complete this list and then come pack for me, it would be greatly appreciated. I usually don't start until the night before.
